Why Worthwhile Chat exists

Whether you're just starting out with AI, or looking for a tool that better reflects social values, Worthwhile Chat provides a safe place to explore the possibilities of AI. It works like Copilot, Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT. Unlike these general purpose AI tools, Worthwhile Chat is designed for charities and their specific needs.

Plans & pricing

Development costs for Worthwhile Chat are covered by grants. We hope to secure funding for ongoing costs, including infrastructure, design, engineering and support.

In the future, we may introduce paid plans to help cover costs. If we do, we’ll clearly describe the pricing and terms. As a charity ourselves, any surplus generated by paid access to Worthwhile Chat is reinvested into our mission and services. We are exploring the following ways to provide access.

Monthly Subscription

This is a common approach, where you pay for different levels of access. For example a Starter Plan, Pro Plan and Team Plan.

Credit-Based

A pay-as-you-use model. You start by adding in credit. Each time you use Worthwhile Chat, your credits go down.

Sponsored Seats

A model we’re currency trialling with Deloitte UK. An initiative that pays for a number of sponsored seats. Read more.
