A safe place to explore AI

Worthwhile Chat works like Copilot, Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT - but it's built specifically for nonprofits, with privacy and responsible use designed in from the start. Your data is hosted in the UK and EU, is never used to train AI models, and built-in guardrails help keep every conversation safe.

For nonprofits

Ready-made prompts and a system prompt built around real nonprofit tasks such as fundraising, comms and service delivery - so you start from sector context, not a blank page.

Safe to explore

Guardrails filter harmful content and automatically redact personal details. It's also a space to experiment and learn at your own pace - no prior AI experience needed.

Community-led

Created by and for nonprofit professionals, with use cases based on nonprofit needs.

How you'll get access

Development costs for Worthwhile Chat are covered by grants. We hope to secure funding for ongoing costs, including infrastructure, design, engineering and support.

In the future, we may introduce paid plans to help cover costs. If we do, we’ll clearly describe the pricing and terms. As a charity ourselves at CAST, any surplus generated by paid access to Worthwhile Chat is reinvested into our mission and services. We are exploring the following ways to provide access.

Monthly Subscription

This is a common approach, where you pay for different levels of access. For example a Starter Plan, Pro Plan and Team Plan.

Credit-Based

A pay-as-you-use model. You start by adding in credit. Each time you use Worthwhile Chat, your credits go down.

Sponsored Seats

A model we’re currently trialling with Deloitte UK. An initiative that pays for a number of sponsored seats. Read more.
